On March 30, the team of the Department of Social Sciences at Tashkent State Medical University visited the Center of Islamic Civilization of Uzbekistan.
This institution sparked great interest among the participants as it serves not only as a place that tells the story of the past, but also as an intellectual hub connecting history, present, and future. The center offers unique exhibitions, a rich spiritual heritage, and an opportunity to reinterpret the country’s history from a new perspective, while also highlighting key directions of national development.
In particular, the main section of the center — the Sacred Qur’an Hall, enhanced with modern technologies and visual presentations — left a profound impression on the professors and teachers. The hall features one of the world’s six oldest copies of the Qur’an, the revered “Uthman Mushaf,” and its mapping show demonstration made a lasting impact on visitors.
